Omah Lay is an Afro-fusion artiste hailing from Port Harcourt, Nigeria who has forged a unique niche for himself with evocative storytelling and dark melancholic melodies, making him one of Afrobeats’ most talked about innovators.
Drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres like contemporary pop, hip-hop, and highlife, Omah Lay burst into the scene in 2020 with his debut EP ‘Get Layd’ which enjoyed both critical acclaim and commercial success, with singles ‘Band influence’, ‘Lo Lo’ and ‘Damn’.
His second EP ‘What Have We Done’ was released in November of the same year and produced monster hit ‘Godly’.
